SEDD holds workshop on arbitration in business

Abu Dhabi: Sharjah’s Economic Development Department (SEDD) organised a workshop to discuss the concept of arbitration in the business community and to highlight its role in resolving disputes.

The workshop was conducted by Dr Ebrahim Al Mulla, a lawyer, who discussed different mechanisms of arbitration, types of arbitration, how to appeal arbitration and request its annulment, and how arbitration is classified under UAE laws. He also discussed the role that the Sharjah International Commercial Arbitration Centre plays in the resolution of trade disputes.
