Mohammad to lead delegation to Algeria
Abu Dhabi : General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, will lead a delegation of Abu Dhabi government officials and business representatives on a visit to Algeria on Tuesday.
The delegation will include Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister.
The visit seeks to build upon the strong bilateral ties between Abu Dhabi and Algeria, and to promote greater economic cooperation.
Upon arrival, the delegation will attend an official lunch with Algerian President Abdul Aziz Bouteflika, followed by a series of bilateral working group meetings to discuss potential areas for partnership and cooperation with high-level Algerian representatives.
Discussions will focus on potential cooperation in sectors as diverse as energy, real estate, banking, finance, industry, technology, security and defence.
The Abu Dhabi delegation consists of senior representatives of the government, including Khaldoon Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority, Nasser Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Department of Planning and Economy, Dr Ahmad Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Health Authority, and other officials and representatives of the private sector.
