DUBAI: The UAE Ministry of Finance said on Monday it recently discussed international taxation transparency and exchange requirements with federal and local entities in Dubai. The meeting, organised by the Ministry’s Regional and International Financial Relations Department, was called to review latest developments by the entities ahead of a second phase of assessment by the G20, according to a statement. This follows a previous decision by the Ministerial Council for Services to implement G20 resolutions for the exchange of information for tax purposes and to coordinate with government bodies to collect financial information on foreign companies operating in the UAE. Representatives from the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for National Security, the UAE Central Bank and the Ministry of Economy, among others, attended the meeting, the statement said.
