Dubai:More than 200 companies are expected to take part in the exclusive Indian Trade Fair Dubai 2013, said P.D. Nath, managing director of Silver Star Corporation, organisers of the show.

Coming to Dubai again after three years, the event will further strengthen trade links between UAE and India, with tremendous prospects for new collaborations and business growth.

“Changing trends in the local market, and shifting away from the oil industry for large scale development, this fair will be an ideal event to explore potential opportunities as well as exhibiting goods and technical capabilities,” Nath said.

He said the event will provide a perfect gateway and an excellent opportunity to the business houses in India, including SMEs, to introduce and launch their quality products and services, new collaborations and strategic tie-ups not only in the growing markets of UAE but also in the Middle East and other parts of the world considering the flow of tourists to the UAE.

According to Paras Shahdadpuri, president of Indian Business and Professional Council (IBPC), the event will provide an opportunity to display and sell Indian products and services to the vibrant and rapidly developing UAE markets and also showcase the vast capability of Indian industry and services.

“The main objective of organising the event is to project India of 21st century, capable of supplying quality machinery, products and services and technology of international standard at competitive prices. The exhibition is also aiming to further enhance the existing India-UAE bilateral trade,” Shahdadpuri said.
