Dubai: Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, issued a resolution on Tuesday setting up the Dubai World Trade Centre board of directors.

Dubai World Trade Centre board of directors undergoes revamp
The board will have a renewable tenure of three years
The board will be chaired by Shaikh Hamdan, while Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chairman and CEO of Emirates airline and Group, will serve as the deputy chairman.
Members include Abdul Rahman Mohammad Al Sharid, Saud Mohammad Ebrahim Obaid Allah, Butti Saeed Al Kendi, Abdullah Mohammad Rafei, Khalifa Suhail Al Zafein, and Ziad Abdullah Galdari.
The board will have a renewable tenure of three years. If the tenure passes, and no new board members are appointed, the board members will continue their duties as normal until the new members are named.
All resolutions issued by the board appointed through Decree No. 4 of 2007 from February 25, 2010, and until the present day are considered to have been done so in a legal manner.
The resolution comes into effect from the date of its issuances and is to be published in the official gazette.
