Dubai: Dubai trade is expected to grow by 5 per cent in 2015 Dubai introduces virtual freight and logistic corridor to facilitate trade By Zaher Bitar Senior Reporter Dubai Dubai foreign trade is expected to grow from by five per cent up to Dh1.39 billion by the end of 2015, Ahmad Mahboob Musabih, Director of Dubai Customs, told media on Sunday.

In 2014, Dubai foreign trade grew by 0.15 per cent to 1.33 billion up from 1.32 billion in 2013.

Musabih attributed this expected growth to the government’s efforts and initiatives undertaken in trade and business facilitation to achieve this sustainable growth along decades.

“UAE and Dubai are striving towards meeting its ambition development goals, umping up in global performance and progress indicators and moving forward to number one position in all fields,” he said.
