Ajman: His Highness Shaikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, has stressed that the wise policy of the UAE leadership, which is aimed at bolstering relations with sisterly Arab countries in all domains, comes in the light of the strong faith in cementing joint Arab work, particularly in the economic field by benefiting from the material, human resources and natural potential and harnessing them for the good of the people.

The Ruler made his remarks during a meeting today with Mohammad Yousuf Adam, Governor of Kassala State in Eastern Sudan, at his office in the Emiri Court.

He said UAE sought to establish good relations with the Arab Countries for mutual benefit, especially with Sudan which has witnessed vivid development in the economic field, through exchanging visits among officials and trade delegations and other similar initiatives between the relevant departments to ease the activities and business among the two countries.

Mohammad Al Hassan, the Sudanese Consul General in Dubai, and Salem Bin Ahmad Al Nuaimi, Adviser of Ajman Ruler, were also present during the meeting, which was also attended by a number of officials.

Shaikh Humaid described the investment and economic initiatives between the two countries as pillars of development of bilateral partnership, and called upon the business community to activate cooperation mechanisms between the UAE and Sudan.

He affirmed that these meetings are among the efforts being exerted to promote areas of cooperation and investment opportunities between the two countries, stressing that Sudan’s expertise in the field of agriculture, livestock and its associated industries, can open up wide horizons in establishing investment partnership between the two parties as well as stimulating the private sector in the country to take advantage of them.

He also hailed the Sudanese diplomatic mission in the state in strengthening bonds between the two countries in all fields by representing in different events organised by the UAE in general and Ajman in particular.

For his part, Mohammad Yousuf Adam expressed his country’s pride with the existing relations between the two countries at the level of leadership and people, lauding the Ajman Ruler’s contributions in boosting the ties. He also called upon UAE to take benefit from the investment opportunities offered by Kassala State, due to its rich natural resources, livestock, industries and other fields
