Dubai: Trade between companies in the Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) with the Netherlands was more than $732 million (Dh2.68 billion) in 2015, according to state news agency WAM.

The number of Dutch companies registered in the free zone has reached 105 this year, the report said.

The figures were released after Jafza deputy chief executive and chief commercial officer Ebrahim Mohammad Al Janahi recently met with Netherland’s Consul General Robert de Leo.

The report did not say when the meeting took place or give figures for the previous year’s trade and number of companies.
