Dubai: Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) held an opening ceremony for its new North Depot aviation fuel facility at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
Adnoc said in a statement it has invested Dh750 million in the fuel depot to meet demand of aviation customers. It is expecting “significant increase in demand” for aviation fuel from Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways and its associated airlines.
The fuel facility has a capacity of 96 million litres, and will be the airport’s exclusive provider of Jet A1, a fuel manufactured to meet stringent standards.
