Al-Futtaim delivers 35 Prados to Dubai Police
Personnel also trained to use Intelligent Tester
Dubai: Al-Futtaim Motors, exclusive distributor of Toyota vehicles in the UAE, recently delivered a fleet of 35 Land Cruiser Prados to the Dubai Police.
The delivery ceremony was headed by Brigadier Anas Al Matroushi, Deputy Director, Transport and Rescue, Dubai Police, and Simon Frith, Managing Director, Al-Futtaim Motors, and attended by senior police and Al-Futtaim Motors officials.
Brig Al Matroushi said: "This project further reinforces the long-standing collaborative relationship between Dubai Police and Al-Futtaim Motors."
Preceding the handover of the new Prados, the police were trained on using Toyota's Intelligent Tester, a machine that, once plugged into the vehicle, can detect any defect or malfunction, thus reducing the risk of a sudden breakdown.
Simon Frith said: "We have managed to create a regular, almost daily two-way communication channel with the Dubai Police, which enables us to immediately respond to any query or feedback from them."
