Al Ain: Al Ain Zoo on Sunday announced a line-up of activities for visitors to enjoy during the Eid Al Fitr holidays.
Visitors will be able to enjoy the events from 10am to 10pm on the first three days of Eid, and from 10am to 8pm on the fourth and final day, said a zoo official.
The zoo will present an Eidiya gift for all visitors — a gift traditionally offered on the occasion of Eid — with every visitor being treated to a complimentary entrance ticket for their next visit. Guests will be greeted with true Emirati hospitality, with hosts offering coffee, tea, dates and halwa. Authentic Emirati cuisine will also be available, he said.
“With activities planned for the entire family, visitors can take in performances of the traditional Emirati dance Harbeya, or enjoy arts and crafts, henna, painting, and a zoo characters presentation after the parrot show,” said the official.
A puppet show will also be available three times daily during the Eid holiday.
