Abu Dhabi Terminals handles 5m TEU

Dubai: Abu Dhabi Terminals, the operator and manager of Khalifa Port Container Terminal, announced that it handled 5 million Twenty Foot Equivalent Unit (TEU) as of October 28, 2016.

This was achieved serving the CMA CGM, a vessel belonging to Abu Dhabi Terminals’ long-term customer, CMA CGM Pegasus. Abu Dhabi Terminals called the figure a milestone, and said it followed the company’s positive performance in the first half of 2016, during which Khalifa Port handled 11 per cent more containers than in the same period in 2015.
