Dubai Civil Defence rescues gazelle

Dubai Civil Defence rescued a gazelle suffered injuries after an accident in Meydan area, Official said on Monday.

A team of Civil Defence from Al Quoz station were on their way to Meydan area to check the safety and precaution measures of Dubai World Cup 2018, when they saw an injured gazelle.

“The young gazelle was in the middle of the road and couldn’t move. We stopped the vehicle, diverted the traffic and provided first aid for the gazelle,” official in Dubai Civil Defence said.

Later, the gazelle was taken to Nad Al Sheba reserve to receive treatment.

Dubai Civil Defence said that they take care to deal with such incidents by upholding humanitarian and animal welfare principles.
