Dubai: Global Village has been recertified as risk-free and compliant to international standards of a theme park by the Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) for three consecutive years.
LRQA, an international group that assesses management systems globally, awarded the ISO 9001:2008 certification to Global Village as proof that all systems the theme park employs are on par with set standards and that risks have been mitigated.
Global Village opened its gates to visitors on October 21 and will run until March 30, 2013 — its longest season so far, to include major Dubai events such as Eid in Dubai and Dubai Shopping Festival.
