Police are searching for suspects who robbed two Dutch tourists at gunpoint while they were taking pictures at a popular spot in San Francisco that’s known as the “Crookedest Street in The World”.

Officer Gordon Shyy, a police spokesman, said Tuesday that the victims were standing at the base the oft-photographed, well-travelled and winding Lombard Street when two men in their twenties approached them late Sunday night.

Shyy says that one suspect pulled out a gun and ordered the tourists to hand over their cameras and a tripod while the other suspect was serving as a lookout.

The suspects ordered the victims to turn around as they fled on foot.
