Woodstock Festival Poland
July 14-16, Kostrzyn nad Odra
Among the world’s major rock festivals and Europe’s biggest open-air celebration, Przystanek Woodstock is a free three-day event with great musical acts. Several other events take place during the festival, including the Academy of the Finest Arts, one of the biggest and most significant meetings for music industry professionals.
June 29-July 2, Gdynia
One of Europe’s premier and popular music gatherings, Open’er is a four-day event with seven stages of both local and international acts. It also features Polish theatre troupes performing original works at pop-up venues, experimental film screenings and fashion shows.
EtnoKraków is the largest ethnic music festival in Europe and a global forum for world music, folk, rock, ethno-jazz, roots and traditional music. It combines the Euroradio Folk Festival and the Crossroads Festival.
Night of Culture
Noc Kultury, the only event of such a scale in Europe, has been inspiring both residents and visitors to discover Lublin’s atmosphere by revitalising its streets and forgotten places with displays of artworks. For a single night, artists and citizens create a unique street spectacle, encouraging everyone to participate and share the city’s energy.
Gdańsk Shakespeare Festival
The event takes place at Tricity (comprising three cities in Pomerania: Gdańsk, Gdynia and Sopot, along with minor towns nearby) and combines worldwide performances, artistic activities, workshops and meetings. Next year will see the 20th edition of this very popular festival.

The only festival of its kind in this part of Europe, OFF is set in a huge park — Dolina Trzech Stawów (Valley of Three Ponds) — and hosts independent arts and culture events, along with exhibitions, screenings and music. This alternative music festival offers a mix of genres, catering to all tastes.
