Since 1990 TC Candler and Independent Critics have been holding the World’s Most Beautiful Faces award. It began as a fledgling project and now has become an annual internet phenomenon. This year Egyptian actor Yasmine Sabri is on the list of 100 most beautiful faces in the world.

With a viewership greater than People Magazine, Esquire, AskMen, Maxim and FHM combined. The list has gained prestige, with celebrities acknowledging the honour.

Yasmine is the only Arab actor on the list for this year, as announced on their Instagram page. The result of the online competition will be declared on December 27.

Sabri began her career in 2013 and she has starred in movies such as My Way, The Legend, Hell in India and Black Horse. She has also had a tryst with Hollywood, when she played a role on MTV's hit show Teen Wolf in 2015 as Elena Ibrahim. She was also the face for brands like Cartier.

Sabri may be the only Arab actor on the list this year, however the nominees are diverse and include people from Hollywood and Bollywood along with, sports stars, and pageant winners from across the globe. Sabri was also on the list in 2017, 2018 and 2020 respectively.

Yasmine was picked for her understated elegance from a photo that was taken at the closing ceremony of the Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Other celebrities that are nominated for the Faces 2021 award are Tom Holland, Ryan Reynolds and Korean actor Jang Won-young.

The Independent Critics constitute about 20 people living in various countries and are organised by TC Candler.
