The 94th Annual Academy Awards may mostly henceforth be known for the Will and Rock slap-gate, however, on a lighter note there were plenty of bright moments on the red carpet and beyond. From Valentino to Fendi there was enough fashion chutzpah to go around. Here are some of our favourite looks from the big day.

The winner of Best Actress in a Supporting Role Award Ariana Debose, who stunned everyone with her performance in West Side Story, donned a Valentino Haute Couture look, which was especially designed for her by Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli and Valentino Garavani Tango. She looked every bit the star she is.

Sticking with Valentino, Zendaya also took to the red carpet in a Valentino Haute Couture look that was exclusively conceived for her by Valentino Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli. She also wore Valentino Garavani Tango footwear.

Singer Joe Jonas wore a custom Tiffany Victoria diamond vine necklace in platinum and a Tiffany Embrace band ring in platinum with diamonds. He looked the part as he graced the red carpet

British actor, singer and songwriter Naomi Scott who played the role of Jasmine in 2019 Disney blockbuster Aladdin was also at the 94th Academy Awards at The Dolby Theatre in L.A. Here she is seen sporting a Fendi look. She chose a special long version of a Fendi Couture SS22 Collection look, made in bright purple silk duchesse. Her boyfriend footballer Jordan Spence wore a Fendi Man tuxedo.

Actor Will Smith made headlines for more reasons than his maiden Academy Awards win as Best Actor for his role in the movie King Richard. He looked the part in a suave dark suit with his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith who looked stunning in a green gown.

Spanish actor Penelope Cruz wore a Chanel halter ball gown, as she took to the red carpet with her husband Javier Bardem. Javier dressed in all black formed the perfect other half of the power couple they are.

Gabrielle Union also wore a Valentino Haute Couture dress from the Spring Summer 2022 Anatomy of Couture collection.
