Photographer Greg Williams and actor Daniel Craig, collaborate on Leica’s latest product

The carrier strap is made of top-quality, vegetable – dyed Nappa leather that is embossed with the Leica logo, and has eyelets which are gilded.
The visible elements of the camera are defined by black and gold. All the engravings on the camera and lens are inlaid with gold paint. It also includes a first: the name and sequential serial number have been engraved with a laser, under the glass cover of the camera display.
Another very particular feature concerns the traditional Leica logo: on the Leica Q2 Daniel Craig x Greg Williams, the red dot with Leica lettering has been replaced with a black dot and gold lettering for the first time ever, making the camera uniquely distinctive.
If there’s one brand that is synonymous with quality when IF it comes to cameras then that’s Leica, and their Q2 model has been the go-to camera for some of the best photographers in the business. One of those photographers, Greg Williams, has collaborated with actor Daniel Craig – aka James Bond – on this limited edition model.
Leica says that both Craig and Williams share a passion for photography and are both avid fans of the Leica brand. Williams, one of Britain’s most renowned photographers, has used a Leica Q2 to shoot campaigns for Vanity Fair, the Golden Globes, the Oscars and countless other high-profile jobs including both behind-the-scenes shots and poster captures of Daniel Craig’s James Bond. What makes it special is the fact that it’s one of the best cameras on the market, but also incredibly light and portable with near-instant connectivity to social media.
The 47.3-megapixel, 28mm model comes in all black with gold inlay on the engravings, a scheme carried over to the signature Leica dot, which is rendered in black with gold lettering for the first time. This limited edition camera comes with a carrier strap that is made of what Leica describes as “top-quality, vegetable-dyed Nappa leather” which is embossed with the Leica logo, featuring gilded eyelets and arrives in a black silk-lined presentation box.
The name and sequential serial number of the Daniel Craig x Greg Williams Q2 units are engraved under the display glass cover. The camera is limited to only 750 units and costs $6,995.
