TRA launches public interactivity application on government portal

Dubai: The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has announced the launch of its ‘Sharikna’ application on the UAE government official Web portal, Government.ae, in order to promote better interaction and engagement levels with users in the UAE.

The application is a social networking channel similar to Twitter. It allows users to follow specific topics and receive the latest updates on issues of their interest.

This initiative goes with ongoing efforts to achieve the objectives of the UAE national agenda and attain the UAE Vision 2021, which will reinforce the UAE’s leading position internationally in providing public services.
