Ramco launches new enterprise resource planning solutions

Dubai: Ramco Systems Limited, a leading provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions from India, has signed a $170,000 deal with Commercial Bank International for implementing its solutions.

The Indian firm has launched its QuickERP and DecisionWorks solutions in the Middle East and North Africa. The solution is primarily intended for the SMB market.

"QuickERP is an internet-based ERP solution. Customers can go live with 49 days by providing accelerated time-to-benefit," Kamesh Ramamoorthy, chief operating officer, Ramco.

"We see strong demand from Bahrain, Qatar and the UAE. Growth in the region is expected to be 10-15 per cent," says R. Shankar, vice-president for Mena, Ramco.

Ramco DecisionWorks is a smart, easy-to-use, web-architected business intelligence solution for enterprise performance management, with superior reporting and analytics.

"With rapid economic growth and increasing global intergeation, the Middle East has evolved as one of the fastest growing and most demanding markets, especially the manufacturing sector," Shankar said.
