Omnicom Media Group names new MENA head for agency

Dubai: Nadim Samara has been made chief executive of OMD MENA, effective immediately, parent company Omnicom Media Group MENA said Monday.

The appointment follows Samara’s 17-year stint at Omnicom Group, where Samara was previously the CEO of OMD’s UAE office. There, he played a critical role in the success of the agency, according to a statement accompanying the announcement of his promotion.

Samara will now lead a network of 15 offices with over 600 employees managing more than 200 clients.
