Vox populi: I just called to say...

I mostly use my mobile for personal use. I'm always on it. I use it every day. If I didn't have my mobile with me every day I'd be lost.

In fact if I didn't have a mobile I would lose contact with all my friends and family back home in the UK and it will be very difficult to arrange evenings out with friends here.

My mobile is an important part of my daily routine, as it wakes me up in the morning to get to work on time!

I mainly use it for text messages and making phone calls. Mobile phones have so many different functions these days, I doubt anything else could be added, they have everything already. It's just about having the money to buy the latest model that can do everything.

I have two cell phones, one for work-related issues and the second for personal use. In the space of 24 hours I use my cell for personal use more than 50 times and for business-related issues I guess more than 30 times a day.

My mobile phone is a very important part of my routine, my main job is communicating with prospective customers and work associates. I would not be able to work efficiently without my phone. Plus, I have my bank details, passwords, ATM card information and all the different things that have digits, are registered in my cell phones.

I mainly use my cell phone for calling, text messaging and
registering important details that contain digits.

Life would be less stressful if I didn't have two cell phones, but I do like to know I can reach anyone at any point in time.

I use my mobile a lot. Mainly for texting - it's the easiest way to organise a day trip or evening out with friends. I do use the MP3 while I'm on my way to work, it helps pass the time. I guess, I use it for the camera features too.

Wow, I didn't realise how much I depend on it. I would be lost without it. I have forgotten it at home once or twice and it felt like my right arm has been cut off.

I'm always on my mobile, constantly texting — it's a quick and easy way to get in touch with friends. If I haven't got time to chat, I can just send a text and get the answer I want right away. It's great.

I can also keep in touch with friends back home easily, which is an added bonus and it's not that expensive, which is always an advantage. I only tend to use the mobile for texting. I call my parents sometimes, but I tend to use the landline for that.

It is amazing what mobile phones can do nowadays. I'm happy just using it for the basics — making the odd call and texting. My partner has the latest phone and it all looks a little too complicated for me. It has a GPS navigating system; he can scan business cards and so on. It's crazy.

My life depends on my phone. My work heavily revolves around communication and the best way for people to contact me at any time is to call me on my cell phone.

The technology that has been developed is quite amazing.

Phones now do several jobs, making other electronic devices obsolete. Who needs to carry an MP3 player, camera or laptop with them when a celll phone can play music, take photos and send emails? It really is quite fascinating.

I use my mobile everyday for personal use. It is a great convenience. I'm not sure how I used to manage without one.

Communication with friends and family is incredibly important these days. Living away from home can be difficult at times, but my family knows they can get hold of me at any time if they need too. This is very comforting for both parties.

My mobile has so many different features, I tend to use it for text messaging, making calls, taking pictures, making video clips and watching movies.

I'd like my phone to be connected to a satellite map system. That would be cool.
