Google remains the undisputed titan of the internet, clocking a staggering 136 billion monthly visits from 6.3 billion individual users. Its grip on the global search engine market continues to border on monopoly, reinforcing its dominance in digital life.

Alphabet, Google's parent company, also claims the second most visited site: YouTube. The video platform pulls in 72.8 billion visits per month, with 3.6 billion unique users spending an average of 25 minutes per session — a testament to its enduring influence over online video.

Further down the rankings, ChatGPT has surged to ninth place globally with 4.8 billion monthly visits — a meteoric rise for a product that didn’t exist before 2022. The AI platform’s rapid ascent reflects the growing appetite for generative AI tools across industries and user demographics.

Social media platforms show a mixed picture. Instagram draws 6.8 billion visits a month, solidifying its lead over TikTok, which ranks 20th with 2.5 billion. The gap underscores Instagram’s broader user base and higher engagement levels, even as TikTok continues to be a cultural force.
