Sharjah Golf & Shooting Club and club captain Ravi AE recently hosted the 11th Captains Day. Ravi put up some fantastic prizes and a full field all battled it out to finish top of the pile on the day.
There was some great scores recorded on the day, players also had lots of fun on course prizes to compete for. It was Zein Ismail who produced the round of the day as he posted an impressive thirty six stableford points playing from handicap index. Mr Ismails round included an incredible eight net birdies as he guided his way to victory. In second place just losing out via countback also on a score of thirty six points was David Murphy. Third place went to Amir Inam who had a very steady round of golf posting a score of thirty five stableford points.
Best Gross went to low handicapper Sami Butt, Samis steady score of thirty three stableford points was enough for him to take home the gross spoils. Sami has played brilliantly all season and he continued this form to yet another win. Ramli Sulaiman took home runners up spot with a fine performance of thirty one points. Just losing out by one point for runners up spot was Amiya Ranjan who had to settle for third on thirty points.
Several other prices were awarded on the day and thanks and well wishes were once again extended to the Captain.
