Alex Whayman and David Bainbridge claimed this weeks 'Thursday Curry Club' over the Earth Course at JGE with a score of six under par, net 30.
Alex and David managed to shoot an impressive five under gross, with three birdies in a row through holes 1 to 3. Missing out on first spot due to countback was membership services executive Kian Higgins and JGE member Paul McGee. The pairs highlight of their round came when they went four under through holes 1 to 3 consisting of two birdies and an eagle.
Just losing out on the countback shootout by one point were members Neil Gallagher and Jason Walters. They even managed a net eagle on the hardest hole on the course as they signed for 30 points in the pairs scramble and had to settle for thid place.
Special mention to Jumeirah Golf Estates Lady Captain Evelyn Downham and her partner Carl Downham who missed out on prizes again due to countback.
