MyGolf Dubai recently hosted its Grand Opening of its new facility at Dragon Mart 2, Dubai.

The official ceremony was attended by senior dignatories from the Dubai Sports Council, the government of Dubai, quasi-government as well as the UAE golf industry and other guests.

Chief Guest Saeed Hareb, Secretary-General of Dubai Sports Council, commented, “It is my pleasure to be here tonight for the Grand Opening of MyGolf Dubai. These exceptional facilities will enhance both the variety and quality of sports facilities on offer in Dubai. I am hugely impressed. It is an ideal venue for both the local Dubai population as well as international guests and we are confident it will be a success with families, as well as individuals of all ages having fun here.”

Michael Zhao, Founder of MyGolf Dubai, said, “Here we are tonight at MyGolf Dubai to celebrate the Grand Opening. The facility is a first of its kind in the UAE, an indoor entertainment centre for primarily golf, both golfers and non-golfers, and a Karaoke Suite, along with a great coffee shop and a venue for corporates as well as individuals: for networking and the opportunity for like-minded people to meet up in a friendly environment – in summary it is a modern social and leisure platform. We are proud of our philosophy of being a Golf Academy with a disruptive approach to learning, whether it is for the complete beginner, the average golfer or the elite player, we can accommodate them all.”

Soft opening

Sam Bahr, MD of Business Development of MyGolf Dubai, said, “We are excited to have arrived at our Grand Opening, having had our soft opening in April earlier in the year. We have a 35 strong team of management and staff, that are already providing a unique golfing experience for our members and guests with our 14 Golfzon golf simulators, including our six private rooms. In addition, we have a couple of private rooms for business meetings as well as a private dining area.’

‘We look forward to welcoming golfers and non-golfers to MyGolf Dubai, mindful that we are just about to launch our enhanced golf lesson programmes, targeted for Juniors and Ladies managed by our team of five PGA Golf Professionals. Watch this space for more news,” concluded Bahr.
