A year on from the Tommy Fleetwood Academy being up and running, its clear to see how much of an impact the academy is having in the local commmunity at Jumeirah Golf Estates.

Just one of those aspects in growing the game to make it more accessible in particular the Junior section, is the Tommy Fleetwood Academy Junior Medal Series.

There were over 50 juniors competing in the recent event which had multiple different divisions.

Madhav Manoj posted a score of 29 (+5) to win by two shots over second place Ishika Kaul in the 'Tommy Fleetwood Academy tees' division. This division was set up for the younger juniors who don’t have a handicap.

In the 'girls competition' Milana Rozhko shot a net 32 over the front nine holes of the Fire Course. A two shot victory for Milana from Maxime Baillache, despite Maxime finishing her round with a net eagle of the par four ninth.

Ethan Alan shot a net 37 (+1) with his handicap of seven while playing off the 'signature tees', beating Tommy Carr Jr via countback.

Although Tommy still took home the 'gross division' with his gross 38 (+2), winning via countback from Alexander Rushika.

Concluding the prize-giving presentation, David Gardner, the sponsor from St James’s Place, thanked everyone for participating. “Thank you for your participation in the TFA Junior Medal Series. Congratulations to all our prize winners and we hope to see you again for the next month!”.
