Teenager Alessa Chang clinches Filipino Golfers in the Middle East club championship

15-year-old produces a dazzling display of eight pars, a birdie at Montgomerie Golf Club

Alessa Chang shot a gross 83, net 72, to win the recent Filipino Golfers in the Middle East (FIGME) Club Championship held at the Montgomerie Golf Club, Dubai.

Alessa, is a 15 year-old student and the youngest member of FIGME and a regular supporter of the FIGME calendar of events.

The champion managed eight pars and a birdie in a dazzling display of afternoon golf at Montgomerie Golf Club.

Brian Stewart won the Gross Division with an 80, a two over par, 38, on the back nine and a 42 on the front nine, including five pars and three birdies.

The 2022 Club Championship was supported by eGolf Megastore, My Golf Dubai, JM Foods, WR, Jondo and all the members’ contributions.

The last event of 2022 FIGME season will be held on November 26 at Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club — The “BAR” Kada Championship.
