Team Mapei blew away the competition in the inaugural Corporate Invitational at JGE as the team took both first and second place.
A total of eight companies, each with two teams of four, took part in the fourball scramble event around the Earth Course, which was in prime condition with the DP World Tour Championship just around the corner.
In the scramble event, the overall prize would go to the winning company with the best combined score of both teams.
The two four player teams from Mapei consisted of Craig Beech, Carl Munn, Tony Hogg, Eddie Stanley, Ian Gregory, Robbie Nelson, Steve Keirnan and Jamie Otto.
But taking home the bragging rights, was the team consisting of Craig Beech, Carl Munn, Tony Hogg, Eddie Stanley who took the top spot with a very impressive 20 under par, net 52.
Only a one shot victory from their Mapei team mates of Ian Gregory, Robbie Nelson, Steve Keirnan and Jamie Otto who shot 19 under par, net 53, to take second spot on count back.
Matching them, but having to settle for third spot, was team representing Kerry Logistics which consisted of Darren Baker, Peter Kerins, Alex King & James McSweeney.
