Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club recently hosted their 2023 Inter Society Championship with almost 100 golfers competing.
The team that emerged victorious in the tournament was Creek Stars 1, with a total stableford points of 170, comprising of Anders Kron, Yujung Seo, Shankar B, Hannah Major, Simon Fast, Soren Emil Dam, Michael Nielsen, and John Fish.
Furthermore, Anders Kron & Yujung Seo, representing the Creek Stars 1, were declared the best pair, winning on better back nine with a total of 46 points. The Italians, represented by Edoardo Galeppini & Marco Tedeschi, finished second, and Allan Stanton & Chris Jones from Beers & Birdies finished third, scoring 45 points.
Apart from the primary event, there were four nearest the pin competitions held. Sergio De Souza won the Nearest the Pin on Hole 5, Hannah Major won the Nearest the Pin on Hole 8 & 16, and Bruce Vallance won the Nearest the Pin on Hole 14.
