Celebrations all round at Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club this past weekend as the club announced Mr. Abdul Moiz Khan as the new Club Captain at the annual Captain’s Season Opener.
Moiz managed to play a hole with each group on the day. Which was in fact topped by the new incoming Vice Captain Shaheen Butt taking the spoils with 39 stableford points which included five net birdies and a net eagle.
Double celebrations in the Butt househols as Shaheen's son Sami took home the Gross Division with 37 points. Scratch League Captain Chris Bagge was runner-up with 35 points. Aamir Inam claimed Division A with 38 points with Simon Yoon was top of the pack in Division B with 39 points.
A big thank you was sent to Mr. Ravi A.E. for all his efforts at SGSC during the last year of captaincy during the presentation as a warm welcome and good luck to incoming Captain Abdul Moiz Khan and Vice Captain Shaheen Butt for the 23/24 season.
