Sara Ali and Andrew Wood scored 41 stableford points to win the fifth event of the 2023 UAE International Pairs Qualifying Series at Saadiyat Beach Golf Club.
A victory for Ali and Wood that came via countback as they were matched by Pekka Eltata and Kevin Moore on 41 points.
While in third spot, just one point back on 40 points, were the duo of Paul Kay and Sheldon Ritchie. Just missing out on a podium spot was Chungjen Sun and Peiching Lee who also lost out on countback.
The three leading teams qualify to play in the UAE National Finals of the International Pairs at Abu Dhabi Golf Club held over the National Course on Saturday 9th March, 2024.
Then the winners of the UAE National Finals will qualify for the International Pairs World Final to be held in November, 2024 at the Royal Obidos Spa & Golf Resort and Bom Sucsso Resort in Portugal, aiming to be crowned the International Pairs World Champions.
