A record breaking 238 people recently competed in the Diwali shamble tournament over the combined Majlis and Faldo Courses at Emirates Golf Club.
In the four person team event, claiming bragging right at the club was the team of Connor McGlave, Marc McStay, Luke Gregory and Richard McGlave with 113 points on the back nine of Faldo and back nine of the Majlis.
Runners up in Group B on 11 points was Raj Janardhan, Sanjay Raina, Arman Singh and Mustafa Khan while in third place was Tariq Chaudhary, Syed Badruddin Hilal, Shehzad Hameed and Zain Qureshi with 101 points.
In Group A, which was contested over the front nine of the Faldo and front nine of the Majlis, Anil Kumar, Arindam Chakrabarty, Nandan Mer and Asif Raza topped their group with 101 points.
Close in second by just one point was Ashish Nanda, Nikhil Nanda, Dalip Tripathi and Diya Shiv Kumar, while third spot on 98 points went to Shiba Wahid, Tauseef Khan, Ravi Khanna and Roma Khanna.
