Rayan Ahmed with stunning win in AESGC Junior Open

A five-under par 65 bogey-free round in Al Ain

It was an outstanding performance by Rayan Ahmed (TMD) to win the 2023 AESGC Junior Open with a fantastic five-under par 65 bogey-free round. Ryan demonstrated steadiness throughout the round as he set his pace on the front nine with a gross score of three under par 32 and maintained that form on the back nine, where he finished with a two-under par 33 gross score.

Boys Gross Winners: Spencer Datkiewicz (HGC) won the Boys Best Gross prize for his 1 under par 69, which consists of 32 shots on the front nine and 37 shots on the back. Taking second place with a gross of 70 was Peter Whittaker (AESGC), who had a gross of 36 and 40 for his total gross score of 70. Paul Rezko (ADCGC) was in third place with a gross score of 71, scoring 38 and 33 on his two nines.

Girls Gross Winner: Zurich Kanokpornvasin (SBGC) took home the Girls Best Gross prize after posting a 3-under par 67 gross score, which was accomplished by hitting 33 on the front nine and 34 on the back nine.

Boys Net Winners: Keegan Poisat (AESGC) finished with a front and back nine net score of 34 and 28, respectively, to finish with an 8-under par 62 net total, which allowed him to win the Best Net prize in the Boys Category. With a 36 and 31 net score, George Pendleton-Nash (EGF) finished second via countback over third place Thomas Buchard (TECD) with 32 and 35 net, both players produced 3-under par 67 net total.

Girls Net Winners: Taking home the Girls Best Net Score prize was Imogen Hall (TECD) with a 33 and 29 net score on her two nines for an eight-under par net total, followed by Ela Camarlu (EGF) in second place with a 5-under par net score including 33 and 32 net on her front and back nine’s.

Nearest the Pin Hole 8: Spencer Datkiewicz (HGC)
