Mike Galvin and Darren Shallicker take September Windmill League

Mike Galvin and Darren Shallicker (HCP 7.2) came out on top in the September Windmill League held last night at Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club.

The duo led the field with the best net score of the evening of 31.8 as 14 teams competed in the floodlight nine hole, pairs greensomes strokeplay format.

Mike and Darren were the only pair to break the gross 40 mark with their round consisting of six pars from the last seven holes.

Stuart Bell and Nicola De Beer (HCP 8.5) finished in second place with a score of net 34.5. The pair producing pars on holes 12, 14, and 17 as well as a birdie on hole 13.

With a score of net 35.2 the team of Fiona Watson and Nina Dordevic (HCP 15.8) they secured third place.

The Ladies pipping Alex Field and Christel Brabon's team (HCP 5.2) who took the final spot in the Windmill League with a net 35.8.
