Malcolm Young sets course record in UAE PGA Monthly event
UAE professional hits five birdies at The Resort Course at Jebel Ali
Dubai: UAE professional Malcolm Young (The Track, Meydan) shot a three under par 67 to set a new course record over The Resort Course at Jebel Ali in the UAE PGA event for January.
Playing in the morning tee time bracket, Young secured 5 birdies and bogeys at 1 and 10, to win by four strokes over two loops of the nine-hole Peter Harradine layout which has a par of 35.
Young commented after the round, "I am excited to claim the course record. The greens were firm and fast and, on behalf of the UAE PGA, I want to thank Stuart, Eliot and the JA The Resort Team."
