LOOK: European Tour stars to watch at the AVIV Dubai Championship

Tommy Fleetwood - The 2017 Race to Dubai champion is a firm fan favourite in the UAE, and will be hoping to win a first title since the 2019 Nedbank Golf Challenge. Comes into the penultimate event of the season in 13th on the Race to Dubai, with his last European Tour outing at the Alfred Links Dunhill Championship ending with a tie for seventh.

Paul Casey - This year's Dubai Desert Classic champion hasn't played a solely European Tour sanctioned event since June, but finds himself in seventh on the Race to Dubai thanks to his triumph in Dubai and strong showings in the four Majors. A win this week could put him right in the mix for the season-long title.

Martin Kaymer - The German has 11 European Tour titles, including the 2010 US PGA Championship and the 2014 U.S Open, but is yet to win again since the latter. Could the Fire course be the stage for Kaymer to enter the winner's circle once again?

Min Woo Lee - The Australian is the highest-ranked player on the Race to Dubai playing this week in sixth, thanks to a maiden Rolex Series triumph at the Scottish Open earlier this year. Game is trending nicely with two top tens in his last two appearances, including a runner-up finish at the Andalucía Masters.

Padraig Harrington - This year's European Ryder Cup Captain is right on the bubble of the top-50 on the Race to Dubai meaning the Irishman needs a good week to confirm his spot in the season-ending DP World Tour Championship. If he were to make the Dubai finale, it would be his first appearance since 2014.

Antoine Rozner - The defending champion carded a solid final round eight-under 64 to pip Andy Sullivan to last year's title. The Frenchman followed up that maiden triumph on the European Tour with victory in Qatar earlier this year - could he make it a hat-trick of wins in the Middle East this week?

Rafa Cabrera Bello - The Dubai-based star lost his PGA Tour card in September, but bounced back superbly with a win at his home open just last month. Resides in Dubai, and will be looking to capture a second title in the Emirate after lifting the Dallah Trophy at the Dubai Desert Classic in 2012.

Adri Arnaus - The Dubai-resident is still looking for a first European Tour win, but his last professional victory did come in the UAE at the season-ending Ras Al Khaimah Challenge Tour Grand Final in 2018. Has shown promising signs of ending the drought of late with a tied eighth finish at last week's Portugal Masters coming after a play-off defeat to Rafa Cabrera Bello at the Spanish Open.
