LIV Golf on Thursday announced the all-star field set to tee off in its seventh event of the year, the $25 million LIV Golf Invitational Jeddah.

LIV Golf Invitational Chicago champion Cameron Smith and Invitational Boston winner Dustin Johnson lead 48 of the world’s best in LIV Golf’s Middle East debut, taking place October 14—16 at Royal Greens Golf & Country Club, King Abdullah Economic City, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

12 major champions

The star-studded line-up includes four-time major winner and former world No 1 Brooks Koepka, 2020 US Open champion Bryson DeChambeau, 2018 Masters champion Patrick Reed and six-time major winner and World Golf Hall of Famer Phil Mickelson. The field features 12 major champions, four former world No 1’s, 13 Olympians and 21 players with 10 or more professional wins to their names.

Other notable players include American star Harold Varner III and Northern Irishman Graeme McDowell, the 2010 US Open champion. Both will be familiar to local golf fans as past winners of the Saudi International at the same venue, along with two-time champion Johnson.
