Liu lands himself into the history books in Sharjah

George Liu has landed himself into the history books of Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club by winning the 16th edition of the Summer Open Golf Championship.

A full field of players competed for the clubs oldest major championship as they played over the black and blue tees in the Individual Stableford tournament format.

Club Member Liu had five birdies and dropped just two shots as he signed for 39 points for victory, and infact winning by countback over Vikar Mustafa in second spot. Third place went to SGSC low handicapper Ramli Sulaiman with a score of 38 points.

Rajesh Parak – 36 points

Division B Winner:

Amiya Ranjans – 37 points
