The most recent qualifying round of the Race to Georgia powered by REZA Hygiene at The Els Club, Dubai, saw James McGowan (8), receiving eight handicap shots, scoring 41 Stableford points to take top prize.

McGowan shot a gross 75, including five gross birdies.

63 players in total participated in the event.

The three qualifiers for the Regional Final to be held at the Montgomerie Golf Club on Saturday 25th February, 2023, were McGowan, second placed Danny Drew (12), winning on 39 points on a back nine countback and ‘Lucky Draw’ winner Stamen Stantchev.

The three category winners from the Regional Final will qualify for the World Final of the Race to Georgia in the US, as well as to be invited to attend, as Patrons, The Masters Tournament at Augusta in April.

There have been 17 qualifying rounds, beginning in October, in the UAE, as well as Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

The 2022 – 2023 Race to Georgia is open to both men and lady golfers, aged 21 years and over, with registered handicaps, with a maximum for men of 24 and for ladies 36, with 75% allowance.
