Husband and wife pairing of Henry and Emma Malsher (Trump International GC) took the 2023 Annual After Summer Open today at Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club.
18 pairs competed in the Betterball Strokeplay format with each player recieving ¾ of their course handicap.
The winning Malsher team navigated the front nine in two under par net 33, and a three under par net 32 coming back in, giving them a total score of five under net 65 and a three stoke victory.
With an impressive net 20 on their last six holes, the duo of Johan Potgieter and Johan Schoonraad (AESGC) came in second spot via countback over Carel Nolte and Konstantin Varga (AESGC).
Nic Poisat and Wayne O'Mahony (AESGC) won the Best Gross prize with a total of gross 74 which consisted of 39 and 34 on their front and back nine’s.
