Tim Backhouse & Adam Hodgkins win in a record number of 48 players in weekly tournament

Duo of Tim Backhouse and Adam Hodgkins scored a net 29 (-7) to win the 'Thursday Curry Club' at Jumeirah Golf Estates.
A record number of 48 participants took part in the weekly tournament over the front nine on the Fire course in the Pairs Scramble format.
Backhouse, Tommy Fleetwood Academy Head Professional, and his playing partner Hodgkins, had five gross birdies to secure the victory.
In second place was Assistant Golf Services Manager, Adam Stastny and Mark Castell who scored a fantastic net 30 (-6). Adam and Mark scored three gross birdies and a gross eagle.
Finishing third with a score of net 31 (-5) was the pair of David Warham and Richard Green. The pair managed to have no bogeys and two gross birdies.
Unfortunately, just losing on count back for third place was Alex Whayman and David Bainbridge, with a great score of net 31 (-5).
