Dubai: Jumeirah Golf Estates’ Golf Experience Executive Finlay Galloway teamed up with Jamie Snowdon to clinch victory in this week’s Thursday Curry Club.

The dynamic duo posted a stellar net score of -7. Their exceptional round featured an impressive run of 6 consecutive net birdies from holes 3 to 8, securing a comfortable 3-stroke lead over the competition.

The Thursday Curry Club at Jumeirah Golf Estates attracted the participation of 26 members and guests. The event took place on the challenging front nine of Fire, with plenty of birdies available but also bogeys to be had.

Securing a solid second place were the pair of Martin Ayrton and Jane Vorster. Their impressive performance resulted in a commendable net score of -4, highlighted by a net eagle on the challenging 6th hole.

Claiming a commendable third place was Kieran Blackshaw, Golf Experience Manager, and Edward Janes. The duo showcased their skills on the Fire course, securing a net score of -4. Despite an impressive performance, they narrowly missed out on second place, settling for third after a countback.

Lee Johnston showcased precision by winning the nearest-the-pin contest on Hole 2, while Edward Janes unleashed a powerful drive, earning him the title of longest drive champion on Hole 7.
