Omar Thabit scored 38 points to win the Men’s Stableford Division at the Emirates Golf Federation (EGF) Monthly Medal, while David Pendleton-Nash got his hands on the Men’s Gross Division trophy after shooting a solid 75 at Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting & Golf Club.
In the Men’s Senior Division, for players 50 years old and above, Kevin Barrett took home the spoils with 41 points.
Other winners on the day included Pansy Gonsalvez, who won the Ladies Stableford Division, and Junior Stableford champion Alessa Chang.
Alongside the Monthly Medal, the EGF also hosted 52 junior golfers for the Future Falcons Par 3 on the executive course at Yas Links Abu Dhabi.
During the Par 3 event, there were four different divisions, two for the boys and two for the girls.
Aayra Ganguly, Alreem Almheiri, Aarav Ganguly and Essa Fahad Bin Redha all emerged victorious in the initiative, which is supported by The R&A as part of the National Junior Development Program.
