The ultimate Night Golf experience was held at Emirates Golf Club on Friday evening with the OMA Emirates Midnight Madness. Two shotgun starts on the Faldo Course at 23:00 & 02:30 while under the flodlights of the course and backdrop of Dubai lit up at night.

68 players consisting of members and guests took part in the 27 holes tournament. Nine holes consisted of a two-ball scramble and the remaining 18 holes were played as a four-ball scramble.

Taking the plaudits in the unique event, was the team of Niranj Sangal, James JacksonOliver Ravenscroft Rohit Malhotra with an overall score of 33 under par. Their 18-hole scramble consisted of a staggering 12 birdies and five eagles. Ravenscroft and Malhotra contributed six birdies from the back nine two-ball scramble while Sangal and Jackson contributed with five.

Second place went to Kieran ShawJack Mountford,  Chris McCarthy & Joe Keely with a score of 31 under par. As a four-ball they in fact claimed first place in the 18-hole scramble event with a score of 29 under par. An impressive six shots clear of second place. Their scorecard was made up of eight birdies and 10 eagles.

Final spot on the podium went to the team of Sultan MahmoodNoman MahmoodShahid HabibMuhammad Siddiqui with an overall score of 28 under par. In the two-ball scramble on the back nine, Habib and Siddiqui produced around of six under to contribute to the overall score.
