Jumeirah Golf Estates leads after round two in three event series

The home team, Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club, scored 154 points to win the Day’s Prize in the second event of the 2022 Beneple Dubai Golf Junior Team Championship.
The format of the team event is the best five Stableford scores from the team of six players.
Runners-up on the day were first round leaders Jumeirah Golf Estates with 141 points and Emirates Golf Club, third on the day with 140 points.
The team totals after two events, sees Jumeirah Golf Estates leading the series with 299 points, four points ahead of Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club and Emirates Golf Club a further five points behind.
Francisco Ronnqvist (EGC) was today’s individual winner with a score of 34 points. In second place was Raghav Gulati (DCGYC) with 33 points and in third place was Junior Captain of Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club, Rohit Menon (DCGYC), with 32 points.
The third and final event of the Beneple Dubai Golf Junior Team Championship series, featuring the three golf clubs part of Dubai Golf: Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club, Emirates Golf Club and Jumeirah Golf Estates, with only nine points between the clubs, will be played at Emirates Golf Club in May, before the end of the 2021-2022 golf season.
