Finishes second, final round included 2 bogeys, 1 birdie on front 9 before eagle on 10th

Dubai based 16-year-old Chiara Noja (Ger) finished tied first on seven under par 209 and lost on the fourth play-off hole to Lucrezia Colombotto Rosso (Italy), in the
recent Terre Blanche Ladies Open on the LET Access Series (LETAS).
Noja, who represents Jumeirah Golf Estates, played in this LETAS event, a tier below the Ladies European Tour, where she recently finished tied 13th in the $1
million Saudi Ladies International at Royal Greens Golf & Country Club, KAEC, Jeddah.
The Terre Blanche Ladies Open is the first tournament on the 2022 LET Access Series.
Noja had rounds of 67, 70 and 72 in this 54-hole event, boasting a prize purse of €40,000.
Noja’s final round included two bogeys and one birdie on her front nine before an eagle on the 10th.
Back-to-back bogeys on holes 11 and 12 were soon forgotten with back-to-back birdies on 15 and 16 and despite dropping a shot on the 17th, Noja signed for a round of 72 to equal her best finish on LETAS.
Rosso won at the fourth extra hole with a birdie to take the title, with Noja having to settle for the runner-up spot.
In the LETAS Order of Merit, Colombotto Rosso’s win ensures she sits at the top of the rankings with 500 points, with Noja in second (320 points).
The next LETAS event is the Flumserberg Ladies Open which takes place on May 12th – 14th at Gams-Werdenberg Golf Club.
