Jumeirah Golf Estates Lady Captain Evelyn Downham and her partner Carl Downham have won the monthly Jumeirah Pairs by The Lounge Spa.
The pair narrowly lost out via countback in last week’s edition of the ‘Thursday Curry Club’ to seal the deal this time round with a winning score of five under par, net 67 around the Fire course. The pair scored particular well on their front nine with a score of three under par, net 33 in the Pairs Greensomes event.
Second spot went to Simon Brind and Andrew Parsons with a score of three under par, net 69. Which included two net eagles on their front nine, pulling them away from third place.
That went to Cavit Yiliz and Umar Farooq with a great score of two under par, net 70. Beating Daniel Gribbin and Stephen Punch via countback as the pair also shot a two under, net 70.
