The amateurs have a four point lead over the professionals in the Dubai Golf Trophy after the opening day.
The tournament hosts the top 16 professionals vs the top 16 amateurs in the UAE in a two-day Ryder Cup-style format. Today's opening 36 holes were held at the Earth Course, Jumeirah Golf Estates. Before tomorrow's final round of single matches is finalised at Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club.
A continued feature within the 2023 Dubai Golf Trophy also includes the Ladies Challenge Match of the same format between two professionals and two amateur Ladies.
